Extraordinary experience! The Northern Lights tour in Iceland takes you to see a spectacular natural phenomenon which happens during the winter months. The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole.

Day 1 16 March 2019 (Sat) Schiphol – Keflavik Airport / Reykjavík
Fly to Icelandic capital Reykjavik International Airport (Airport Code: KEF), airport transfer time is 16:00-18:00 Icelandic time. (If you arrive out of this time, you need to book hotel transfer at extra cost, can be arranged for you).
Note: Depends on weather, we could arrange Aurora tour on the first day. Will notify hotel reception, contact us at your arrival. From 2nd to 4th day of the tour, depending on weather, we will go for Northern Lights Tour at night. Northern Lights Tour private tour: (€55 per person)
Day 2 17 March 2019 (Sun) A popular day trip to the Golden Circle
Departure from hotel after breakfast at 9:00, we will head to one of Iceland’s most famous routes: a day trip to Golden Circle. We arrive at Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir) in the morning, where you find most of Iceland’s 1200-year history. The only place in the world where the trace of continental plate can be seen on the surface, in 2003 it was given the honour of world cultural heritage. Go to Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Gullfoss, Fridheima-TOMATO Conservatory Show and Icelandic Horse Show, Pearl House (€33 per person). Day 3 18 March 2019 (Mon) Day trip to Southern coastline
Departure from hotel after breakfast at 9:00, visit the most spectacular sights in Southern Iceland, Seljalandfoss Forest Waterfalls and Black Sand Beaches. It takes two hours to drive from Reykjavik to our first attraction in the South, we will stop at the LAVA Volcano Museum (Lava Centre) to see Iceland’s volcano-related knowledge (not entering, Free). Recommend to buy drinks and snacks here as it is unavailable in in the next attraction.
It takes less than an hour from Lava Museum to our first scenic spot in the south. After visit to the Skogafoss Forest Waterfall, we have a group lunch at the restaurant next to the Forest Falls – Icelandic traditional mutton soup (or vegetable soup), a soup with a lot of meat. Highly recommended for the lunch option. Icelandic traditional broth + coffee/tea *free refill (€22 per person).
After lunch, we go to Black Sand Beach Reynisfjara to experience the thrill of being hit by the sand. Please strictly follow instructions by tour guide and do not approach the big waves to avoid danger.
Day 4 19 March 2019 (Tue) City Sightseeing + Blue Lagoon + Volcanic Cave Adventure
Starting at 09:00 after breakfast at hotel, we spend about 1.5 hours for city tour taking you to the world’s northernmost capital and visit famous historical landmarks such as Hart Grim Cathedral, Solfar Sun Pirate Ship, and Harpa Music Hall.
After that, we have free time for lunch in the city centre and then go to the Blue Lagoon for a bath. Blue Lagoon bath we spend about 2 hours there for a relaxing and enjoyable moment. Blue Lagoon entrance fee must be booked in advance, unavailable at the door. (Entrance Blue Lagoon Spa €100 per person)
The rich geothermal resource near Reykjavik causes frequent volcanic activity. There are many large and small volcanic lava caves near Reykjavik, we will lead you to the biggest and most interesting one for the adventure. (Optional to participate). In Winter, there will be countless ice ridges in the cave, and reflection from the colourful volcanic rocks makes it more special and beautiful. (Lave Tunnel: €55 per person)
After cave visit, return to hotel for dinner, finish a wonderful day tour!
Day 5 20 March 2019 (Wed) Happy Return!
Airport transfer will be arranged. Finish an unforgettable journey!
